Reversible air cooled fully configurable high efficiency Rooftop units

Stand alone reversible air-to-air Rooftop unit, for the thermo-hygrometric treatment, filtration and air renovation, in medium-large surface and volume environments (supermarkets, shopping or exhibition centres). VSD scroll compressors for sizes < 120 kW and 4 ON/OFF tandem compressors for higher capacities. Together with electronic lamination valves, these solutions allow to punctually follow the building demand, getting the highest efficiencies with relevant energy and cost savings. According to the selected version, the unit can manage the free cooling operation thanks to motorized dampers for return, exhaust and fresh air. The unit is also available with the thermodynamic and Refrigerant Booster heat recoveries, air-to air Plate type or rotary heat exchangers, to recover the energy from the exhaust air, increasing the unit capacity and the global efficiency.

LOW GWP REFRIGERANT
The pure refrigerant R32 is an extraordinary eco-sustainable alternative to traditional refrigerant R410A, offering a 66% reduction in terms of GWP, a higher efficiency and a lower refrigerant charge.
HIGH EFFICIENCY AT PARTIAL LOAD
Top-level partial load efficiency, granting an effective energy and economic savings, thanks to VSD scroll compressors for sizes < 120 kW and 4 ON/OFF tandem compressors for higher capacities.
HIGH RELIABILITY
The wide working range, the inverter technologies and the tandem compressors, together with the accurate design of the components, ensure optimum performance and comfort, with a continuous and constant operation also during heavy thermoigrometric conditions.
FLEXIBILITY
The unit is available with the opportunity to choose different supply and return airflow directions and is always delivered as packaged unit with all the desired configurations.
ROTARY-TYPE ENTHALPY RECOVERY
The exclusive enthalpic rotary heat recovery recovers both sensible and latent heat from the exhaust air, in winter and summer operation. The recovery of the latent heat improves the dehumidification capability of the unit in summer and the humidification in winter, with a very high efficiency ratio.
STATIC PLATE HEAT RECOVERY
The static plate heat recovery provides a constant and effective recovery of the sensible energy from the exhaust air, keeping always the supply and the return airflows separated. In winter mode the efficiency can reach high values, that, together with the zero energy consumption of the component, grant an effective energy and economic saving.
REFRIGERANT BOOSTER
Cutting-edge Refrigerant booster heat recovery system that completely and precisely recovers of the energy from the exhaust air, without any waste due to the mixing with external air. The performance of the cooling circuit is maximized, increasing the cooling capacity by 15% and the compressor working at the same condition.
VARIABLE AIRFLOW FUNCTION
Thanks to the advanced logics of AIR3000+, the Variable Airflow Function allows to adjust the supply and the return airflows according to the real plant demand, granting an important reduction (up to 30%) of annual energy consumption.

Controls

AIR3000+

AIR3000+ with LCD display is made up by two control boards, dedicated to the air side and the refrigerant side respectively. The management of the thermoregulation is proportional or proportional + integral, referring to the return temperature. Its functions include the adjustment of the ambient humidity, the thermal or enthalpic (optional) free-cooling and supply temperature limitation. Defrosting is based on a self-adaptive propriety logic with monitoring of several operating and environmental parameters. The management of the ventilation can be realized with constant air flow or pressure regulation: as pressure drop varies, the fans change speed so as to maintain the flow-rate at the designed value. The new VAIR function (variable airflow) allows to adjust the supply and the return airflows according to the real plant demand. The controller independently manages several optional thermal resources as well as the amount of fresh air, with the possibility to create different operating profiles. Supervision can be developed via third party systems by means of the most common protocols as ModBus, Bacnet, Bacnet-over-IP, ModBus-over-IP, Echelon protocols. Compatibility with the remote keyboard managing up to 8 units.
